OFW 3.55 > CFW 3.55 Problem?

Hi,

I am trying to update my console (CECHC-03 model), from the Offical 3.55 firwmare to Kneaw 3.55 CFW. I am aware due to the fact that the console is a specific model, there may be some complications, however I have read a few comments stating that it should work fine.

When I put the CFW 3.55 file on the USB stick (root/PS3/UPDATE/(HERE)) the console finds the update file fine, and starts to unpack (in XMB), gets to 100%, and goes into the black/blue update screen.

It then goes onto say "Checking update data", shortly followed by a message stating that the console is already up to date, there is no need to install this blah blah blah.....

So...my question is this:

Why won't it let me install the CFW? I have tried multiple times now, Geohot CFW install fine, but this won't.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Installed the CFW from the recovery menu and all seemed to work fine
