This works with blu ray discs too.
thats great news![]()
Yes ofc it can read dual layer, otherwise half the DVD movies in the world wouldn't play, since most of them come on DVD9. Or did you mean DVD-R DL? In that case yes it can because i've watched movies on recorded DVD9 so I presume this method will work on games small enough to fit on them.
Great news that it works on BD-R, I'll try it when I get home from work on some of mine and post results.
regards
Well let the testings beging
lets try using DL and Bluray now![]()
i dont understand the point with this tbh, i mean, lol a dvd-r fits like 4-5gb. Also the whole point on having the game on internal or external is load time.
nah, ill pass on this, but good work
The compatibility list says that COD4 works via the internal/external, but all gamedata needs to be removed before playing:

Didnt work for me, I tried burning NHL 2011, and Heavy Rain neither worked when burning to dvd DL. Works fine from the harddrive but give eboot error when loading from disc in backup manager. Used just the windows burner in windows 7 to burn the discs.
