Okay I've been up for going on 26 hours testing mods on the PS3 version of Fallout New Vegas so if something I'm about to say doesn't make sense please point it out. I didn't see a homebrew request thread or a Q/A thread so im just putting it here sorry if its in the wrong place but now time to get to the point. I had mods running on my PS3 version of New Vegas and kept having freezes which I could deal with. But after the last freeze when I turned the system back on rather than the usual "dude you didnt turn your ps3 off the right way be more careful" type message it said my harddisk file structure was corrupt and it had to restore. After it got done doing so I started my game to find that my auto save was gone and my saves seemed to have been rolled back to a previous time. So my question is : Does the PS3 periodicly backup your files in case something like this happens? and my request is : If it does indeed backup things would a dev be able to make a homebrew program to do this whenever? Now I know that some would say the ps3 backing up things sounds dumb. I agree. I just cant think of what else might have happened.
UPDATE: Alright my tired ass figured out what happened. so yeah. Close this or delete it or whatever.
