I'm not trying to start some sh-- so don't take it personal, or anything...

So isn't that just a bit like putting the Cart before the Horse?
As for the FSM Method. It may be in someones grand scheme of things safer... But I have problems with it.
One where the Hell would a n00b get hold of a FSM Stick? (assuming they didn't have a 'xpoitable TI Calculator or an iPod Classic? etc) Its not like anyones still making these things.
Two With the advent of Soft Downgrading the first One I found was from Rogero. If he gets the Biscuit for it IDK. Then there the ever popular ReBug '999' Downgrader THAT DOES THE SAME THING! Even Habib has just recently (seemingly) rebadged that under his brand too.
And you can skip this needlessly pointless step of needing an extra piece of Hardware to Downgrade.
As far as I'm concerned I see this Section of the HOWTO (i.e. the One from Bailiyscream), as being the... most out of date part of the whole thing. In a Lab setting, or for those who'd make a businesses out of Downgrading. It might be seen as the best practice method to do the Job right. But as a howto for noobs (which I was when I was using it!), I only found much confusion as to which parts were still of use and which parts of it were (at that time...) utter BS!
