I updated the day before the release of LANoire just to play that, to find out on the day of release there was a 3.55 patch. I'm not too fussed at the moment, there isn't any homebrew worth having at the moment, playing 3.6x games outweigh playing snes games. I'd be glad once someone breaks 3.6+ but for now I'm happy with my LAN/Portal2/PSN. I hope someone comes out with a Linux based firmware that allows full xbmc and backups, no matter what keys they are signed with, wouldn't emulation in Linux be an option?

I wish I could somehow help the scene to find the LV0 keys.
Maybe you could start by searching under the bed or something

That would require full access to the GPU in linux..which we don't have.

I say, enjoy PSN while you have it!
Also, for those capable.. Check this out, if you haven't seen it before! diy open-source ps3 controllers: English tutorial
You can use your PC's mouse and keyboard to control your PS3! Or your Xbox 360 controller or anything else you can connect to your PC! The fact that it works on 3.61 is why I'm posting it here.
oralphie: Will this allow chuck norris to play backups??? PLZ HELP!!!

Once you update, you never get back, no one hacked the newer firmwares since they came on Feb, so, trade or sell, and buy another one, simple.
Forget it about dreaming for someone to get the keys, there aren't going to be and NEVER going to be developers interested on ps3.

Kids - They Only Ruin Everything
Sony - It Only Gives Away Everything
Connection? - Both screw ya over in the end!
All kidding aside, if you got the $, try to find another PS3 off Craigslist, let the brats keep the one they "only" played Fifa 11 on, or as punishment, sale it LOL....yea, it may seem cruel, but its punishment......

As of 1/26/2011:
3.60 Now Live!
PS3 80GB Non-BC >> Waninkoko 3.55 >> Kmeaw 3.55>> Sold!
Sure-fire way to prevent PSN Bans: Update to OFW!

lol all kidding aside, either trade it in or sell it and go buy a cheap one. If you hurry you could still catch the $160 back on giftcards from target
