Yes, I use swissknife. I use the premium version, it only cost like 5 or 10 bucks. There is also some freeware going around called GUIFORMAT, that I used back in the days for my WII. If you need it, I can upload it for you.

I do not know what PS3 themes you are talking about. If it is a PKG file, then it should be fine. ???

I would upgrade the device. It is best to wait a coulpe of days after a new update, to see if anyone reports any problems. As long as there is no problem, then you should probably update. Unless you are fine with what you have, and do not want to **** around. Me, I like to **** around. I have allready sent 2 maximus v1.2s back to where I got them from, because they would not work after what I did to them. Haha

The Tool: GUIFORMAT, for FAT32 Formatting.

Notes: I had to compress this in order to upload it onto this site. ZIP and RAR, whatever is easier for you. It is just an EXE, so no install or anything, just open > format > close. I am not sure what the biggest size you can format is, but I remember formatting atleast an 80gb external hard drive, and it shows my WD 640gb My Book ready to be formatted when I open the program. I found this about 6 months ago, in a tutorial, when learning how to backup Wii games.

Warning!: Leave the Allocation unit size: 32768, unless you know what you are doing.

is there any tutorial here how to backup games for ps3

because when i bought my ps3 the man get his external hardrive then i think he copied the games from his external drive to my internal drive of my ps3. how the hell did they do that by fomatting it to fat 32??

the five games he gave it to me are ff13,little big planet,heavy rain,2k11,and god of war

now i have a 320gb external hard drive and a 160 gb ps3 internal drive..

again sir sorry i just want to learn this...

You can backup to internal or external using the Backup Manager. Just put your original disk in and then open your BM. Once in there, highlight the disk and press the appropriate button to backup the game. It will ask you if you want it on the internal or external (dev_hdd0 or dev_usb0). Select which you want and away you go. You should really read the PS Jailbreak FAQ that's stickied in the General Jailbreak sub-forum.

Hello guys,

I have a jailbreak PS3 Slim 160GB v3.41 using Amaze v3.0, and a Rogero manager v7.5 and i have games on internal HD like,

Nba 2k11
Uncharted 2
FFXIII
etc..

If i install Rogero manager v7.8 is it ok, or should i delete my old Backup manager,
Should my games stay on my HD, or it will be deleted, if i install directly the new Rogero v7.8.

you can have many backups managers

You can update what ever manager you have. You can also have install several managers, but some will copy over others. I am not sure if you will lose your games if that happens. Some managers you can install with out copying over Rogero: Gaia, Multiman, Open Manager.
