1- yes you can update it
2- don't know if there is as far as i know amazebreak is unupdateable
3- yes there is go here PS Jailbreak Compatibility List - Home
4- you can but the game can't have a file bigger than 4gb and you have to format your external with fat32
5- ps3break is a clone of psjailbreak as is amzebreak, psgroove is the the code open source devices run to jailbreak the machine.
6- their mostely cosmetic and in their names, but i have experienced some games working on one and not working on another.

You can also have multiple backup managers installed at the same time. From what I've seen, they don't interfere with each other.
For example, I have rogero 7.8, gaia 1.04.1, open manager 2.1 and multiman 01.11.05 all installed and haven't run into any issues.
I'm not sure about rogero but the other managers can be skinned as well.

i'm using ROGERO 6.1 BM

It needs to be a FAT32 Formatted USB Storage Device. I have used everything from a 125mb USB Thumb Drive to a 2gb Usb External Drive.
1. Go to: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f187/rog...manager-69178/
2. Get this file: http://www.mediafire.com/?x1gws0v6l1rqnqi
3. Put the "Rogero_Manager_v7.8_LAUN12345.pkg" onto the USB, at the root. "USB:/Rogero_Manager_v7.8_LAUN12345.pkg"

The rar is the only one you need. The source is for people who wsh to make their own PKG files.
Put the "Rogero_Manager_v7.8_LAUN12345.pkg" onto the USB, at the root. "USB:/Rogero_Manager_v7.8_LAUN12345.pkg"
NOTE: The USB must be FAT32 format.
You could make either the 1g or the 4g the FAT32 drive. It all depends on what your preference is. 1g if you want les homebrew stored on it, and 4g if you want more homebrew stored on it.
Yes, it is advisable to upgrade to v7.8

Yes, I use swissknife. I use the premium version, it only cost like 5 or 10 bucks. There is also some freeware going around called GUIFORMAT, that I used back in the days for my WII. If you need it, I can upload it for you.
I do not know what PS3 themes you are talking about. If it is a PKG file, then it should be fine. ???
I would upgrade the device. It is best to wait a coulpe of days after a new update, to see if anyone reports any problems. As long as there is no problem, then you should probably update. Unless you are fine with what you have, and do not want to **** around. Me, I like to **** around. I have allready sent 2 maximus v1.2s back to where I got them from, because they would not work after what I did to them. Haha
