Well it was a fresh backup, So it should work correct?
It's a shame FTP is so slow for me.

As long as no files have been modified, then you should be able to FTP your copy back to your PS3 and be just fine. If you've played the game, you may want to delete your game data with the Game Data utility just so the files on the internall HDD can start out fresh. BTW: Try Blackb0x FTP Server w/ FlashFXP over a wired connection. I get anywhere from 11mb/sec-20mb/sec
Yeah, My ps3 is on wireless atm so that's a big issue for me. The way my network is setup in relation to the PS3 causes issues. I'll need to get that fixed.
Ok, GT5 works fine besides a freeze here and there.
Should I try and update, or will it not work? Sorry for being so nooby lol.
Updates work fine now for the most part. Gt5 update works fine for sure.
hey chesh,
have you tried this?
Isnt it possible to just transfer the game data to the required folder and replace the modified files with the originals using filemanager/multiman (bluray path)/ftp then ?
Because you say bm needs original files, well wont that do the trick?
in a nutshel:
Transfer/move (perhaps Mkdir) to right path+original files= succes![]()
just my 2 euro cents
chees,
Thanks again.
Your way would work fine as long as you remember what game files you changed, delete your package install, and deleted the game data.
I never tried your way, I'm still updating lol. My internet is not very good sadly.
I appreciate all the help and no flaming guys.
