No backups working with multiman and CFW 3.55 kmeaw

Hi,
I flashed my new PS3 (3.55) with cfw kmeaw 3.55 and installed BDEMU + Multiman 2.03. When I try to load a
backup from internal HDD, I just get a blackscreen. I tried some games like Uncharted, NFS Shift etc., no one is working.
I also tried backing up an original game from blueray with multiman, but I also got a blackscreen when I try starting the game.

Any ideas what am I doing wrong?

It was reported numerous times that such problem may arise after installing KMEAW 3.55 CFW on a new PS3 system or after updating from 3.41. In any case the solution is easy enough: * Download and install "FIX PERMISSIONS" package file (download link) * Start the tool and wait for it to finish its job - it will return you back to XMB screen * Try to launch multiMAN and load a game - all should be okay now.

Sorry, but I already tried fixpermissions, it didnt help, still blackscreen. Any other solutions for this?

Try using BDEMU2.pkg not BDEMU.pkg

did you use the MM-internal permissions-fix or the non-MM-permissions-fix?

Hi,
I finally got one game working. I had to replace the eboot with an original one because this was a release for 3.41 jailbreak with patched eboot. Then I ran the permission fix again and it finally worked!
But the backup I copied from my original disk (Assassins Creed) is still not working. Maybe this game is just incompatible with kmeaw 3.55 or multiman, but thats not a big problem if my other games run. I just have
to search the eboots for all my games

assassins creed ONLY works off external

Assassins creed like hackoncrack said is external only PLUS you have to Install update.pkg (PS3Index - Your PS3 Database) US/EU (PS3Index - Your PS3 Database) click download, and if still not working create ASSASSIN_ISO folder in USRDIR to play.

Ok thx, i didn't know that some games only work external. I'll try with the update and an external hdd.
Do generally more games work external than internal? If yes, I'll use an external hdd for all my games.

Well it's about even. Before Multiman could split games and before the PC file splitter you couldnt run 4gb+ file games from external, but now you usually can. The reason sometimes a game works externally but not internally is the BD-Mirror black screen fix. So its best to have both (internal and external).
