No Backup Manager Working For Me !

Hi All,

I have tried all CFW's with the Backup Managers recommended for each CFW, so far I have been unsuccesful with every attempt, the Backup Manager (everyone) just freezes on boot.

It is the latest 320GB Slim that came with factory 3.50, has something been fixed in these latest consoles.

Waninkoko CFW + Rogero Works.

Only combination working for me, although wanted to avoid waninkoko due to increased warnings about using it

What are the steps you're taking to switch from Wanin's CFW to kmeaws?

Same machine as you ..OFW 3.55 - CFW 3.55 Wuntang - CFW 3.55 GeoHot patch - LV2 ..had same issue with all versions of Multi Man signed for 3.55 ..changed to KMean 3.55 and same with Multi Man ..however ROGERO 7.8 3.55 works fine for me.

Waninkoko to Official in Recovery

Official to Kmeaws in Recovery

Install LV2 Patch, Install Backup Manager (have tried Multiman, Rogero and Gaia)

Load LV2 Patch, get white successful screen (press x)

Load Backup Manager

Backup Manager freezes (all of them)

I have also tried official to wutangrza in recovery and added geohot through xmb. I haven't attempted Wutangrza+Geohot+LV2 Patch.

This is what I did and a couple of other users did that were getting errors/issues. Your milage may vary:

1. Get back on 3.55 OFW via recovery
2. Install Wutangrza CFW via recovery
3. Install Geohot's patch via XMB
4. Try lv2 patch and BM. See if they work.
5. If everything goes well, install kmeaw CFW via recovery and test again.

I to was having this problem, then i formated my hdd, and downloaded a bunch of backup managers lol, right now i am using open manager and it works great on kmeaw's
cfw patch

so i say go the route of getting as many as u can and then if they dont work, then format...just dont blame me if something goes wrong, just telling u what worked for me

Did you use Rogero for Waininkoko/Kmeaw Stealth or Non Stealth, with LV2 Patch

I used the stealth version. Not that I think it'll help any in the long run, but it doesn't hurt to be a little bit more careful.
