NFS:HP BLES00949 1.01 Update

Thanks to everyone that has contributed in getting NFS playable at last - truely great times!

Just to post my experiences as I suspect others may get the same.
Using regular Hermes V4B the game boots fine until you update to 1.01 which is necessary if you want to use a Logitech wheel.

When booting 1.01 it will complain that it needs to be firmware 3.50.

I changed to a spoof payload to try and get around it. But then it just black screened on loading rather than requesting 3.50.

If you delete the update game data it plays fine again.

Have other people experienced this or is it just me?

it should be common knowledge by now that no patches will work because the patch rewrites the eboot.
So you can play the game but you cannot update any of the, yet
