Ive been following around on the forum for some while and im finally getting my maxsimus 1.2 soon so now i got some questions i cant really figure out anywhere..
First of, this is not so importen thought its abit of a pain for me. I installed net framework 4 but it says i need to install it everytime i start up the hidbootloader i need to program the maxsimus 1.2.. Any ideas? Got win 7 ultimate and tried the clean up tool to remove all net frameworks..
Got my computer at work to work fine so i can just program it there tho..
2.) Do i have to install the original BM 1.0 or 1.1 or can i just go install one of the Open managers and it will work fine?
3.) Can i have 2 external HDD connected via and hi-speed USB hub since i only got 2 USB ports on my PS3?.. One for games and another for movies? they wont conflict in the manager?
Think thats it for now..
Thanks in advanced :)
don't forget your jailbreak device will take up on of the usb slots, therfore only leaving you 1 (if you have 2 total).
also id suggest you don't get BM and just find any other manager that you like the looks of.
Yes i know, thats why i want to use the 2 hdd's via and USB hub, but i just wanted to know if the backup managers wont have any conflict with two hdd's? :)

You can take your jailbreak device out once the PS3 is booted into jailbreak mode. Thus making the hub pointless. You don't want to have it plugged in when you are starting up your PS3 in JB mode anyway. Once you have it booted tho, just remove the JB device and plug in your HDDs. There are some managers that will actually recognize both drives but I believe that they will only see the games anyway, not the movies so I don't see why you can't have both plugged in at the same time.
This is the only manager that supports multiple devices at the moment. Soon the support will be built into Unified Manager (not released yet), but as of right now, it's your only choice: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f6/avchd...-2010-a-69429/
