Newbie needs help please!!!

Can someone please help me I seem to be going around in circles.

I have a Fat ps3 with 3.41 firmware, I have an amazebreak dongle with their latest software from their site and using Open Manager 2.1h.

The problem is I purchased an external hdd preloaded with games but most of them only go to a black screen and I then have to restart the console. I have contacted the guy who sold it to me and he has promised me that all of the games work on his system.
I have tried gaia manager and also a avr minimus dongle but still have them same problem, what am I doing wrong, I have spent weeks now trying different software and options but still the same.

Just a few of the games that go to a black screen are

Black ops
Full auto 2
The fight
The Shoot
TV Superstars

Can someone point me in the right direction

you are unlikely to get much help here as this site does not support piracy.

It could be a payload thing, but to be honest I would imagine its some bloke slapping all these games on there and not looking / testing any of them etc... look at the compatability list http://www.psjcl.com/ and see if they are listed, but it only takes one file not to copy to cause possible problems, or games with 4gig + files etc..

These people that sell that crap, dont give a rats arse once your money clears.

If the files are bigger than 4gb do they have to be copied to internal hdd or does something else need doing?

If the game has files over 4gig then they wont be complete on the external hard disk, so the copy is borked even if you copy it over to the internal.

External drive's (formatted with FAt32) cant support files over 4gig.

Is there a tutorial that newbs like me can read so we can get a better understanding of why different dongles and managers work with some games and not others. I understand the basic's after weeks of reading forums etc but I have now come to a dead end.

PS Jailbreak Compatibility List - Home - Check there for compatibility. As for how to get them working, if there's a guide, it's here. Search the forums for the game name. I know at least 3 of the games you listed have guides on how to make them playable.
