Newbie - know what to do, but have one question

Hi guys

As the title says, im new to jailbreaking my PS3, but i have been following these forums since it started.

Today, after seeing it recommended on this site, i received this dongle (2 week wait!)

The site says it uses the Atmel ATMEGA32L chip and can apparently load any hex, which was another reason for me purchasing it.

Now the question i have is, exactly what hex should i be using?. I have searched on this forum in the sticky thread

but i can only find hex's that reference a ATMEGA32U, can anyone tell me, are these the same?. I know this dongle has its own site with hex files on, but are these the best ones to use?, as i was under the impression that these would probably not be as up to date as the non vendor specific ones out there, maybe i am wrong?

I have no problem with jailbreaking my console and loading the backup manager etc, its just the hex file that i am unsure about.

If anyone could give me some clarification as to exactly what i should be using i would really appreciate it.

You can use whatever hex you want mate.
Either if they're compiled for ATM32u or whatever else. It will work.

If one doesn't, here's what i do: plug my dongle, run the updater, click erase, flash with the default provided payload, and then load import the one i want.
It always work, at least for me
