New to PS3 , what i need to do ?

hai guys , i just bought slim ps3 160 gb version
it came with 3.55 KMEAW firmware ( the store said so )
and with only 1 game inside it , MGS4
and now , what should i do with this ps3 ?
any advice ?
like , should i go rebug ?
or , what kind of software do i need to install ?
i want to play catherine , ace combat , and any future game from backup
i read i need to download backup manager , currently using rogero ( seems like the old version )

any advice will be help

I would install the latest Rebug firmware along with the latest version of Multiman. Multiman is primarily a back-up manager, but it does so much more (FTP, File Manager and more).

Above all else I advise you to do lots of reading, and don't be afraid to ask 'noob' questions on the forums. The last thing you want to do is somehow brick your CFW PS3.
