Version 3.42 has JUST been released! I'm not sure if the exploit is its patched yet. (PROBABLY SO DO NOT UPDATE)

I just saw this but I'll buy NHL 2011 tomorrow and it will probably need to update in order to play online, so I guess I'll just update and see what happens.

Anyway, I don't have any board yet to install PSGroove.

Usually when sony fixes a bug or exploit they dont change the version much like 3.41 to 3.42 and thats what just happened. When they add lots of cool new features the update will change from 3.20 to 3.30 for example.

This makes me a sad panda. I forget do ps3 games require a firmware update if your on a lower firmware?(like you have to do with a psp)(I haven't bought a game since firmware 3.15 and im still on firmware 3.15 and i havent played my ps3 in a while)
