new ps3 Break question

Hi all

Just got my new ps3 Break v1.1 but it won't let me do the update can someone please tell how to take the cover off so i can see if it is a real or fake one

Does it work otherwise?

Anyway, you just pull the transparent thingy at the end (the one with band holder), it's quite stiff, so you'll need to apply some strength (use a flat screwdriver to help or something), then you push the metal connector with the plate through the opening in the second transparent thing.

Yes it is working as 1.1 but wanted to update to the 1.3b but can't get it into update mode, thanks for the info

Just found out my new 1.1 is a fake is there a way to update it now

How did you find it out? It's different from the photos on ps3break.com?

by the pics on the ps3break site the fake ones have a wire and a little silver thing next to the big chip, and the back of the board is the same as the fake which mine has, but the thing is when it turned up the box was the right size also had the bar code and Truth inquiry lable also the pink silicon inner packaging material same as the real one, but no black label on top of the box, but it works at the moment
