Hey guys!
I have one of them olds PS3 60gb phat models and Im looking to upgrade the INTERNAL harddrive on it, since some backups wont run from external.
So my question is what kind of hdd should I get? size and rpm wise.

Its all down to budget
5400/7200 doesn't matter as the PS3 reads at 5400, but writes at 7200
But i'd recommend a 500GB, i've gotten about 30 games on mine & thats more than enough (Not including PSN stuff)
I found this harddrive that I like. Dont think I need that much space since I tend to delete games after I played them through
Since I forgot to ask the hdd size (3.5 or 2.5) I seached the web and found out I needed a 2.5' also found that, as you said rpm doesnt really matter, what matters more is the buffer, so found this beast:
Western Digital AV-25 WD3200BUDT 320 GB Internal Hard Drive ( WD3200BUDT ) - Hard Drive - Western Digital Storage
What do you think?![]()
