I went to buy a new ps3 for JB'ing, and all the boxes have "Netflix Instant Streaming ready", so does this automatically mean they're FW3.50???
These were on all the 160gb models in every store, and nobody had 120gb models anymore...

Wow, those PSJB guys have this one timed good. Xmas coming up, all the PS3s in the stores are now 3.50...![]()
Has anyone bought a model with the netfilx label on the box? It leads me to beleive they are 3.42fw or higher out of the box. I'd like to know for sure so I can buy one if they're not!
I just bought one last week, 120gb with the netflix label. The firmware was 3.15.
I just bought one (160gb) new and it has the "instant streaming ready Netflix" label on the front of the box, and it IS 3.40! I actually went to Sears and talked the girl helping me into opening up a new unit and hooking it up to one of their tv's! Once I confirmed, I purchased!
Bought one about 5 months back and it had the netflix thing on the box it was 3.15 maybe check the model no.
just bought a 160gb with instant streaming netflix on the box. it was 3.40. now it's 3.41 of course. but if you're gonna buy a new ps3, i'd probably buy it soon.
