We already have an SFO Editor which is where we can change the FW needed for the Netflix pkg.

It's already been done (check the other Netflix thread). The only problem is the Windows SFO editor can't open the SFO (crashes).

Shoutouts to Sony for making me update after I been waiting a week for my USB board. Guess I'll just have to wait for newer firmwares to be cracked. Feels bad man :/.
OK, the streaming disc gave me a worrisome 30-day notice before it stops working and forces the other app on me. I also really need the subtitles that they say the native app allows. I look forward to hearing about any progress for getting this app on a jailbroken PS3. I'm willing to update from 3.15 to 3.41, though I hope to avoid that.
I got that today as well. Unfortunately I accidentally selected the "Install Netflix Now" and was taken to a screen telling me to download it from the "What's New" section of the PSN. Being on 3.41 Firmware, I closed out of the Netflix streaming disc and tried to reboot it, well this time it only gave me the option to install this new feature, rather than continuing to use the disc for another 30 days. I've tried the following methods of getting to use the disc again.

Alas, after trying all possible ideas (in my mind), I still cannot get my Netflix Streaming Disc, which once gave me the 30-day warning earlier today, to load anything other than a screen telling me to go to the PSN and install the application.
I'll ride it out for a few days I suppose and see if anyone can tweak the .pkg or the installed software to work on 3.41. If not, then I suppose I'll be jumping to the latest FW being shoved down our throats by the tyrannical Sony.
No, that app doesn't work. The Netflix PKG is a retail PKG and therefore can't be edited with PS3 PKG Tool.
