Netflix with CFW3.55 and NO PSN???

Ive been reading thread after thread and cant seem to find a final answer, so i thought id ask...

Is there anyway to get Netflix to work with CFW and NO PSN?
Ive seen videos of people getting on Netflix without PSN but can you use the same technique if you have CFW?

There was a method that was working for a while with a modified param.sfo but as far as I know it isn't working for anyone anymore.

I haven't tested it yet, but doesn't Netflix run using javascript and flash player? Doesn't the PS3 have a internet browser that utilizes both of those? Can someone test this? Cause i haven't read/heard of anyone doing it. It's a direct connection to Netflix without having to use PSN as a type of proxy.

have tried it's a no go (PS3 browser not supported), your best bet would be PlayOn

Netflix uses microsoft Silverlight with closed source DRM. Moonlight (silverlight open source alternative) does not support the DRM. So unless you are able to run Windows or MAC OS X on your ps3... you wouldn't be able to view videos from any browser... this is why netflix does not work on linux
