.NET devs - can we help the scene?
.NET devs - can we help the scene? –
Hey guys, first of all don't take this thread so very serious.
I (and many others I think) am a .NET dev by profession, and I'd like to contribute to the scene, but I just don't have time to learn C/C++ just to make some standard ps3 homebrew that doesn't really do all that and then never use it again.
I guess my main question is, is there something we can build that end-users would appreciate? I guess we are pretty limited to only PC apps and not actual apps running on the PS3.
Any desires left unsastisfied? Can you think of some PC program that would be nice to have, that would help your experience with homebrew/jailbreaking/etc. ?
I've seen some programs by e.g. SvenGDC (or something like this, sorry I didn't check up) that among others help with organizing ROMS and PS3 backups, which I think is pretty cool, but what else could we possibly help with?
Any ideas and feedback very welcome, also please try to keep any replies positive, this site is getting into a negative spiral with most topics ending up with a lot of negativity... Have fun guys.
