Need your advice

I have a ps3 slim with CFW 3.55.. i don´t play anymore those 3.55 games and i want to play for example rugby world cup.

I have a question :

If i update to OFW 3.70 i can play the game if i buy it. but later if someone makes a CFW 3.70 will i be able to use it for backup games ?

My doubt is : if i don´t update to the OFW 3.70 i can´t play this game for example

Well if you update to 3.70 and then a CFW comes out for 3.70 yes you can play those backedup games (assuming you still have them). Also, in less than a week E3 flasher should be out which allows dual boot of 3.55CFW and 3.70 OFW however you need two hard drives 90 bucks

well if i was you you can better leave your ps3 on 3.55. about the e3 flasher. you should know what to do you have to solder on your ps3 (phat) and you can still use 1 hdd but you have to format it every time.
