Need help with X3Max (recently ordered) - no switch apparently?

Hey guys,

today my X3Max Stick arrived (ordered at sunrise logic - official distributor) and was gonna get directly started. First thing I encountered was that I saw no switch like on the pictures on their page (the lil white one at the back) - on my stick there is simply nothing.
Tried plugging it in on the computer and of course its not in the correct mode to be recognized by the computer, the lights flash alternating - nothing happens, not even after minutes on the screen. Pulling it out and putting it back in several times in a row doesn't help either.

Opened the case with the small screwdriver they include and this is how it looks like (sorry for bad quality):

At the last three pics I assume the switch should be at the right side where this thing in a 45° angle to the board is.

Is there any way to get this stick up and running without the switch or shall I just send it back?

Can anyone help me?

Is that switch part lifted off the board? Your best solution is to return it back and get a replacement. If it was me, I wouldnt even bother even posting this on the forum. Common sense would be to get a replacement. Get what you paid for it...a working a completely X3max

looks like your switch is broke so if i was you i would contact the store you buy from for a replacement

it looks like the rubber where the button goes is just missing, maybe happened during manufacturing. pretty sure you didn't get bait and switched. just return it and get a replacement.

Yeah thanks a lot for your responses, I contacted the shop and they immediately apologized and told me pretty much the same - to return it and get a new, tested stick back. I assume its not their first time either that some stick is not fully functional.

I just wanted to skip this somehow and get started before weekend what's now not possible anymore - well, bad luck.
