Need help with unpacking .pkg files from PS3 FW

Hi there

Since we now have access to all the goods, does anybody know what are the ps3 system sound files? and where are they kept? I'm checking every file in various players trying to find it

I really like this sound and I want the original

Arent they encrypted? I rememeber looking at a .pkg from the PlayStation Store of a ps1 game.

I'm not certain. All I want is the original source of that trophy sound

I tried quite few extractors and I always get error..

I appreciate that a lot. Where did you get that sound from? I'm asking because I've seen a lot of them online and all of them were recorded from the speaker, so the sound was crap. Yours is better, but still sounds like not perfect, unles this is how sony did it.

I can't remember where I had it from, I found it while scouring the net one day, I got the PS3 startup sound as well when my lappy starts up.

The loss of quality might due to the conversion

Yes that is an email.

Anyways, since the ps3 is properly open now, does anybody know where can i find the Trophy Sound? I know there's loads on the net, but I want a pure sound from the source. There is loads of files with some strange extensions that I can't identify. Perhaps somebody knows more about them? Which ones are responsible for system sound effects?
