I wouldnt say 3.55 was better than 3.41 for discless compatibility but you can play more games on 3.55 i.e gt5. I know the iris manager on 3.55 has good compatibility.Quote:

If you just WANT to update, you need to make sure you get a patched pup to skip the bluray check. But bluray drives range from $40-90 on ebay.
