Need help
I made a stupid mistake by updating my PS3 while it was in service mode, now everytime I boot my PS3 I tries to update my firmware (stuck at 0%)and will give a red screen with text that there is a serious problem...
Is there anyway to fix this? (I dont care if I need to downgrade to 3.21 or something or 3.50 , my FW is now on 3.41)
thanks in advance :(

Have you tried getting yourself out of service mode first?
-
Well I updated well in service mode, booted without and with jailbreak (hermes psn spoof, and psgrade teensy 2.0 ++) but it automaticly tries to update everytime when I boot my PS3, and a few seconds after that it will result in a red screen

Right, but did you ever try loading the 2nd lvl2diag.self file onto a thumb drive and get yourself out of service mode?
-
No, I booted my PS3 (while on FW3.41) in service mode with the teensy 2.0 and tried to update to FW3.50 and after that I wanted to downgrade to 3.41 to see if it works fine, but I never got into that because im stucked now with updating my firmware, at this moment im downloading the 3.41 modified pup and the lvl2diag.self what should be in that rar, but how can I boot that when the PS3 tries to update every time I boot it. I was thinking of connecting my internal hdd (80gb fat) to my PC, format it to fat32 and put it back in my ps3 to see if that works, but I first wanted to make this thread to see if there was another solution. but currently im downloading the fw3.41 downgrade .rar which should be done in 10 minutes

What you need to do is retry the whole process from the beginning. Get yourself into service mode (I know you're probably still already in there), then put in the modified 3.41 and lvl2diag.self, do the "downgrade", and then try the lvl2diag.self file that gets you out of service mode. Service mode should trump the fact that your PS3 is trying to update.

Thank you so very very much! this works and is the way to unbrick my console :), It is just a cheap way I guess :), one question, 1 month ago I logged in to my FTP server and made a complete backup from my PS3, so If I just overwrite all those files now will I get some save games back?
example how it looks in root (first picture)
and in _dev_hdd0 (second picture)
Again thank you very much ;)

You want to first recreate your profiles exactly as they were, then you want to take all the folders in the home directory you backed up and restore them from you backup over your ps3.

[lang=de]wie hast du es gemacht hab das gleiche problem, mit den roten bildschirm[/lang]

Yeah, that home folder in your second picture needs to be copied back over. In it should be all your save games per profile and your act.dat file for PSN content (not sure about the act.dat file, but I think that's where it was stored).
