Need advice on org JB and that fast.

Hey!

Ok, to make this story short.

I'm on 3.41 and have the original JB dongle (the silver one with a red and green led)

My PS3 dropped in the floor and have been out of service for at least 6 months but I have restored it now and I'm back looking for games.

I would like to play the latest releases available but am I able to do so with 3.41?

What are your advices to me?
Update to 3.55?, stay on 3.41?

If update, to what and how?


Remember that I only have the original JB dongle.

First off, you WON'T be able to play the latest games (with a few exceptions), as they mostly require FW 3.7+
Google "CFW 3.55 kmeaw"

There may even be a thread on here explaining how to do it.


Saying that, I myself am still on FW3.41 with a PS3Break dongle, and still have LOADS (50+) of good games yet to play - Only just finished GTA IV and am now playing the Tales From Liberty City extra content.
I've not yet found a game that was available on 3.55 and not on 3.41 with my dongle, you just need the right eboot.

I KNOW that the very latest need 3.7x but the latest available for us jailbreakers if you know what I mean.

I just dl the PS Multi tools by Sven GDK and there I have the option to use kmeaw 3.55
Should I use that to be able to play at least the ones we can play with JB?

OR should I stay on 3.41 and be happy if I find "JB" releases?
