My ps3 is on OFW 4.30 so is there any way downgrade?

Like the title says my ps3 is on OFW 4.30 and to get it on CFW 4.30 I should downgrade it first, right?
So is there some trick to do that?

Check if your ps3 is compatible with a hardware flasher.
If yes:
Buy a hardware flasher.
Use it to downgrade to 3.55.
From there update to 4.30 CFW (or another one).

You will find a tutorial in the forum-stickies.

i must say i was about to post the thread but u beat me to it..n the problem is i dont have a flasher...will there be an easy way to downgrade in the following week or a flasher is a must doubleB?

OKay, thanks. Althought I am not going to buy flasher. Seems like my only option is to wait.

You will wait for months, even years, for free method of downgrade. Go buy a flasher.

Just wait. On ps3 crunch there is a post on the front page saying that the 421, 425, 430 keys have been released. So you will be able to install a cfw over your ofw pretty soon :-)

No, so far it is impossible to install CFW while on OFW3.55+, please, read the news, its pretty clear everywhere my friend.

I believe those are app loader keys. They will not help in installing CFW on OFW. When the 3.60 keys were found were we able to install CFW on OFW 3.60? No. The only thing that would allow that is if a flaw is discovered to allow this, which is not likely.
