I AM USING PSFMOD FOR THE HTC DESIRE
I'm trying to play MGS4 in Patch mode so i can get past Act 4

However, when i boot up my Gaia manager, i only ahve the following options:
L1 - Disk Less
L2 - Direct Boot
R1 - FTP
R2 - Homebrew
Apparently, L1 is supposed to be patch mode?
I tried updating gaia, but it said i already have it installed, would you like to install anywys?

You need a better payload. Patch mode doesn't show up unless you have a payload that supports it.Quote:

EDIT2: I just noticed it says do not use Dev payload. Not sure what that means, but if the default payload htat comes with psfmod isnt working, which should i use ? http://psfmod.klutsh.com/payloads.php

I was looking around on XDA Developers, and found a hermes based recovery image. It's located at PSFreedom-HermesV4b-PSN-recovery.zip
It's PSFreedom-HermesV4b-PSN-recovery. If I understood the thread I was reading, that should enable patch mode in Gaia manager (as well as enable PSN). If not, if ya check out xda-developers and you're bound to find what you need. For reference, from the link you posted, were you using "default_payload_3_41.bin"? The attachment I added seems to be just the payload, but no recovery image. So the link should be what you need.

There is a guide on how to compile PSFreedom payloads. Which i assume is a How To guide on how to make custom payloads.
Has anyone done it before?
