Multiplayer without updating to latest OFW ?

Has anyone a way to play multiplayer without signin into psn or updating firmware.

In crysis 2 or Duke nukem Forever i need to sign into psn , which requires me to update to latest fw and brings me back to main menu . I want to play splitscreen with some games and cannot. Any ideas ?

Disable your network on your PS3 Settings.

Disable Network settings. If you want to play private PSN which you don't have to sign in use Xlink Kai.

maybe its because duke nukem and crysis dont have splitscreen lol
