If you played a game on external and decide to move to internal (or vice versa) do you have to delete all the patches, save games, and game installs?

I tried to move NHL from external to internal and I found that the game would freeze unless I deleted the patch and savegames, and then re-do the transfer

for game data it usually just re-installs it on boot from new location, can't say for updates; doubt they'd be affected though.

I regularly transfer games from internal to external & vica versa, haven't had any real problems. I'd reccommend doing it with Open Manager though if possible.
