Move my PSN ID to a new PS3 without going on PSN

Hi guys,
I ordered a new PS3 earlier and was wondering if there is a way to move my PSN ID to the new console without logging into the PSN. My current PS3 is on 3.41 and I was actually thinking of updating it and syncing the profile with the PSN (as I´ll sell this console anyway). But then there is still the issue of how to get the profile onto the new console as I don´t wanna update it (will stay on 3.41). Does the backup feature include PSN IDs or does it just transfer saves and everything else?

In my opinion, It can not be moved.

You can always use an ethernet cable and transfer EVERYTHING over.

dont worry , just do a back up of your ps3 on a external hard drive. to do that go to settngs> system settings> Backup tool> create backup, then wait till it makes you the back up.

before that you can do whatever u want with the 3.41 ps3... delet ur accounts , whatever.

on the new ps3 just go to settings>systm settings>Back up tool > Restore backup with the external hard drive plugged in

and thats all it will restore all your downloaded games , game updates , accounts , psn ids etc and it will not say 3.41 i will be on the firmware the new console comes with.

thats all. and also you have the option to do the transfer data its the same but in live action XD

It won't restore his profile, it even brings up a message before you backup. Your profie will be gone and your trophy list with all your games won't be there. You can however recover your account from psn by going to sign up to playstation network and pick exisiting member.

What this does is it sets it up for when you decide to go online and sync it will grab your profile, that's when we could go online unless you update. But when you backup nothing gets carried over until you sync, no way around it.

The thing I'm not sure of is what happens when you earn trophies or remaning trophies of a game and sync once you grab your profile, does it overwrite the timestamps of the trophy earned or does it simply not sync it?

So I could update the currently jailbroken console and sync with the PSN,
then use my PSN ID offline somehow on the new PS3 without ever logging into PSN as I wanna keep it on 3.41? And if I should ever upgrade the new one or we can go online with them some other way it will just add to the trophies that are on Sony´s servers already?

Or did I misunderstand and there´s basically no way at all to get your PSN ID and trophies to a new PS3 without going on the PSN?

Sorry but I just wanna be sure before I do anything as I´ve read different things on different threads and sites. :)
