Moderate Hacker Needs Help:/

Hello,
I have a jail-broken i touch 2g running with 4.0 firmware.
I have a non jail-broken PS3 with firmware 3.50

I can downgrade / jailbreak my ps3 within 5 minutes if i need to,
So basically I just need some guidance on jail-breaking my PS3,

1) What would be the easiest way to hack my PS3?
2) If someone could link me to a thread with a tutorial for iTouch 2g 4.0 that would be great, but like I said I will downgrade / jailbreak any version if i have to.
3) The whole reason I am interested in hacking my PS3 is to do challenge Lobbies on MW2, Not sure if anyone here could help me with that.

I have installed home-brew on my WII along with some other baseline hacks, so I would say I have a little bit of background knowledge on hacking gaming systems.

Im going to be looking around on the forums for some guidance but in the mean time please take the time to reply to my thread.

You cannot jailbreak a PS3 that has firmware equal to or greater than 3.42

So you're screwed

if your ps3 is on 3.50 then you will not be able to hack it / jailbreak it / downgrade it

damn... so nobody who has ps3 3.50 will ever be able to jailbreak it? ever?
Do i have any alteratives such as buying a new ps3? or would that come wth 3.50

You can find brand new PS3's with firmware 3.42 or lower still. Just have to hit somewhere where the stock doesn't move very quick. I got one from Gamestop w/ 3.15.

Id work on your moderate reading skills. Then attempt "hacking". But all you really have done is modified it. Everyone else has done the hacking..
