    hey guys i mistakely installed geohot cfw jailbreak over 3.50, i forgot to install 3.55 original fw first.. is that ok? backups are running ok, but im scared to get my ps3 bricked.. what should i do ?

    If I understand what you are saying, you ran Geohot's patch PUP, on top of 3.50, and it works fine?

    If that's the case, then congrats, you've discovered something new and interesting. If Geohot's patch is safe for 3.50, great. Probably not particularly useful, beyond the idea that his patch can't screw up that configuration, but cool nonetheless.

    I believe all you have to do, though, is flash 3.55 OFW and re-apply Geohot's patch PUP. As long as you can flash (either through XMB or Recovery Mode), you shouldn't be bricked. His patch doesn't do anything funky to the system, just replaces a file or two, afaik.

    yeah i run Geohot's pup over 3.50 and it works fine :S
    and thanks, i`ll flash 3.55 ofw then jailbreak again
