Yes,
In fact you can remove it once the PS3 logo shows on your screen at bootup.

depends, PSJailbreak original had a peice of code in there which froze the PS3 when removed so you needed to buy one for each console.

psbreak is a clone, bt may have that code removed, the only thing I can say is try it. The worst that will happen is you need to restart your PS3.

Anything that runs PSGroove can be removed. ANYTHING

The original PSJailbreak cannot be removed, this may include certain clones also.
