MFWbuilder Bluray Drive Bypass on 4xx OFW?

Hi there,

I have a 40gb here stuck in recovery with 4.25 ofw. I can't update the system as it has a different BD Drive.
Is there anyway I can use MFW builder to make my own firmware and bypass the Bluray Drive?

no, because we do not have the keys to resign pups over 3.55
if it were possible to do what your were saysing, we would have a full fledge 4.31 CFW that could install from 4.31 OFW. which is not possible at this time.

you can however downgrade to 3.55 to remarry a drive and then update to 4.31

OR

just stick the bluray drive from the cechG? model you were talking about, into the cechA. this will atleast let you complete the updating firmware process and get out of the update loop.

the ps3 does not care if the bluray drive is married while updating as long as it is just there. so stick that drive from the cechG model into the cechA model and update, or downgrade to 3.55 and remarry.
