    I have lv2.pkg versions 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 9.
Do I just use the latest one or does each one do something specific?

You can just use the newest one available. Each version had minor improvements and tweaks, theres a changelog for it somewhere but I couldn't find it in the search I did. I've used all of them at some point, and have setteled on using the latest one. Version 8 (c540c141fb5d9f5723ba6c394c5e9828) added support for Syscall36 and version 9 added some support for AsbestOS linux booting. Syscall36 seems to be the popular choice for game comptability over the previous system calls used in Kmeaw's lv2 package, so grab version 8 or 9 and enjoy your gaming.

If what you want is playing your backups then don't use any lvl2 pkg. Just go for multiman + bdemu.bin and you're all set.
