A little help please big problem with my ps3

Hi yall i have a big problem here so any help advice or insite would be great so here goes
I have a old ps3 console running newest rebug cfw with the new update and all that jazz had got it hooked up to psn and had just started playing with reactpsn all was good . Untill i tryed to play motorstorm rc I think it was went to start the game then my console just shutdown went to turn it back on and have ylod console dosnt get hot never even realy played it much untill I decided to chuck rebug on the most its been played in its whole life was last night when i played from dust for about a hour? So what i would like to know is it just the console has given up or is it because of something i may have done ? Also could it be that the power supply isnt supplying enough power to the console causing the ylod? I ask this because when it happend i thort i seen a bit of a spark (hard to tell as it was sitting across the room when it happend) or maybe a problem with the hdd or something? Any ways any help would be great guy and gals back to the jtag again i guess dambit! I was realy keen on getting my ps3 on its a sad day also sorry if this is posted in the wrong place and if its a bit noobish. Pulled it apart got it running again be nice if it lasted till i can get ahold of another one
