A little help with the BD playback

Hi!

I've just jailbroken my ps3 and lost Blu-Ray playback and Yes! I know that there are threads with the dev_flash3 folder.
My problem is I cannot overwrite the folder on my PS3. I think the access is denied to the CLR1.txt file or something like that.
I'm using WinSCP and I also tried with FileZilla with the FTP server on the PS3 started, but I just don't know how to overwrite it.
Any help is much appreciated

Try the hobbit fix permissions or some like that...

I think you will have to be more specific than that.

fixpermissions.pkg. You can find it in the PSN spoof thread under General Jailbreak (or maybe it's in recent news). Or, just search the forums for fixpermissions.pkg and you should be able to find it.

Hey I tried the permissions thing but it only sets permissions for LAUN12345 folder where I do have access. Is there another pkg for dev_flash3? Please let me know.

forget ftp. just use comgenie's awesome file manager in "advanced" mode. (Just make sure you're using plain hermes v4b. ot the spoofing version.)

I don't know if I have hermes, nor the version. I'm using my iphone 3g to jailbreak with the latest openiboot, idroid and psfreedom.

Ok... Well Hermes is one of the programs you can use to put your ps3 into jailbreak mode. Just do a search for "Hermes v4b iphone" and make sure you don't get a version that has spoofing.

My games weren't working so I finally got the hermes v4b for the iphone and now they do.
Now I will try comgenie's file manager and see what can I do.

EDIT: I need a little help with Comgenie's File Manager. I can't access my memory stick to copy the dev_flash3 folder.
