Little Big Planet discless on Rogero 4.30 via pkg method? –

Recently my laser died. Little Big Planet is the only game my gf plays and I'd like to get it working if possible, until I get around to ordering a new laser for my PS3.
I'm using Rogero's 4.30 cfw and have the latest multiman installed, I've read that LBP will work via the pkg install method, but I have had no luck with it so far. I tried using some EbootFix I found on here (Multiman Eboot fix up to 4.31) that mentioned working on 4.30 cfw to create the pkg, but I got an error when I tried to boot it. According the instructions.txt file that it generated, I had two .pkg files I could pick from, 3.55 and one for lower firmware. The 3.55 one did not install at all, and the lower one installed but gave an error when I tried to start the game from the xmb. I made a shadow copy as per the directions, and it seemed successful as far as I can tell, but who knows....
Can anyone give me a definitive answer as to whether it will work on 4.30 cfw and if so, some decent instructions (maybe a link to whatever tool i need to make the .pkg?) on how to do it properly?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Here's what I did.
I have Rogero 4.31
1. Copied contents of LBP to internal HDD using Multiman from BDROM.
2. Copied contents to 64Gb Fat32 formatted USB
3. Dragged the PS3_GAME folder over the Eboot fix tool which created two folders for me.
4. I chose the retail option, so copied the contents from the retail folder back to the USB.
5. Copied contents from USB to internal HDD.
6. Launched game - and works a treat
I also did this with Lego Starwars - Complete Saga and it worked for that one too.
Hope this helps...

Where in the internal HDD are you copying the files once it's processed by ebootfix?
I also notice that did not create a .pkg file for me. Do I use one from the npdrm folder?
