List of models and what CFWs work on them?

Did some searching but haven't found a list of this - and maybe it's not neccesary but it would be nice to know what models of PS3 are compatible with what CFW. For instance I have a fat 80GB MGS4 Bundle (CECHExxx) with 256MB NAND and have read reports that most CFW isn't compatible.

Anyone already have a list like this?

Waninkoko 3.55 CFW does not work on phat models CECHA-CECHG. Works on all 16MB NAND models (anything other then those ones listed)

Wutangrza 3.55 CFW/Geohot patch works on all consoles

kmeaw's 3.55 CFW works on all consoles.

Difference between Wutangrza/Geohot patch and kmeaw's CFW is that they both have the same lv1 and lv2 patches, with the addition of using Geohot's patch w/ Wutangrza's CFW they both have the NPDRM patch to run signed 3.55 packages, but kmeaw has the app_home/PS3_GAME location enabled in the Game XMB to allow diskless booting of backups. Right now if you run either of these 2 CFW's you need to use lv2.pkg, syscall35.pkg, or a BM that has lv2 patching built right into it (right now Gaia 2.0 or higher). Waninkoko's has the PL3 patch built right into the lv2 kernel, so it doesn't need a BM enabler.

Hi can I confirm if the new models 320GB PS3 comes with OFW 3.50 is able to get Wutangrza 3.55 CFW working? There was a thread stating these models have encountered problems downgrading which happens that my set was one of those. Thanks for the help!

You're not downgrading as part of this process. You upgrade to 3.55 OFW and then replace it with CFW via recovery mode. So, yes, like I said above, that's what firmware works on which models.
