List games that require 4.31 OFW?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently enjoying the Cobra 4.30 cfw the most because it allows me to stream ISOs over the network and I find that incredibly useful.

Problem is.. I've tried launching a few games that required 4.31 and they hard-crash the PS3.. requiring me to hold the power button for ~20 seconds and scaring me with corruption warnings.

I was wondering if there's a list of games that require 4.31 somewhere so that I know not to even try to mount those games in the future.

Also I know some of those games have patches/fixes that will make them work on 3.55, I was wondering if I can apply those fixes and if they would work on my cobra CFW system if A) I move the games to the internal drive (extracted) and B) if I patch the games inside the ISOs and try to mount them as ISOs like I do for <=4.30 games.

I've wondered something that sort of has to do with this. If 4.31 is the newest fw, how can we go on PSN with 4.30? Also, more on topic, do 4.31 games have to be fixed too? Sounds like the third poster is acting like they don't and it might be an issue with his mm version. I'm worried about the up-coming Show and 2k games.

PSN passphase for 4.31 has been included in all (maybe) 4.21-4.30 CFWs, I remember hearing a while back about multiMAN fixing certain EBOOTs that needed fixing,don't know if it still does, but I don't see Dean removing the function

Aliens Colonial Marines
Sly Cooper 4
Dead Space 3

Multiman patches them when mounted which allows them to run on any 4.21+ CFW. FYI I am on Rebug 4.30 -- maybe Cobra has issues? Be sure you are running the latest Multiman so it has the ability to patch these games. It should bring up a prompt asking you if you want to patch when you mount the game for the first time.

PS -- you can also stream ISOs (DVDs) using Universal Media Server. It doesnt do the menus, but you can fire off the videos.

well the problem is the latest MM you can be on when using Cobra CFW is currently 4.18.05 which was released back in november or december I believe. The latest versions of MM just won't install on Cobra CFW.. and neither will Iris. Which is why I was hoping there was a way to apply the patch that MM applies manually somehow. Maybe if Deank updates the mmCM version (the multiman specifically supported on Cobra CFW) then this will be a problem of the past. But since so few people have the Cobra dongle I guess we can only hope for a new update.

me and many others are playing dmc on 3.55 without any problem... so remove it from the list,
METAL GEAR RISING is freezing on the save menu. desperately needed some way to play this one on 3.55

guys, can i get som clarity on my situation?

i am now on regero 4.30 with mm at 4.20.02. i have DMC with the patch for 4.30 and the new tomb raider.

i have also tried to reinstall my psn games (outrun and galaga etc)

nothing runs.

older 3.55 patched and working games run, e.g. a patched transformers fall of cybertron.

am i missing something?

or is rogero 4.30 shit?
