i only like the fact to have custom start sound and in my case i use the psx start sound. this sounds so much better for the ps3. i could only switch on and off my ps3 the whole day to hear this sound...
edit
maybe it could be integrated into cfws?

I have one more question: If I upgrade to 3.55, will the games I have installed on my internal still work? Also, does external backups work with 3.55?
Okay, my final question is all I have to do is install Kmeaw 3.55 CFW and then install the newest backup manager and that's it. Do I have to install anything else?
From my experience Waninkokos CFW crashes way more than Kmeaw's.
For instance, games would simply lock up instead of load sometimes, once they loaded they were ok but that was kinda annoying.
One game that is virtually unplayable is Ratchet and Clank- a crack in time, played for 15 minutes, locked it, save curropted.
I switched to Kmeaw's and used Gaia Manager 2.06, played for 4 hours, no crash. Much better.
Nothing else. Try it and see
New version of lv2 patcher allows you to select patchsets and you can use "Waninkoko V2" patches.
Kmeaw+lastest multiman=win
i have been using kmeaw + Gaia 2.06 for 4 days now, no crashes, no freezing no problems at all.
i come from a JB'ed 3.41.
all my games, saves, trophies etc survived in the upgrade.
The facts are we all have different results, I had more problems with Kmeaw. If it crashed once, it would keep crashing until i turned the PS3 off all together. Installed wani's and all is fine, except the need to re-install pkg's like FBA.
Simple really, try both, stick with the preferred results,
Correction. You had problems with LV2.pkg and managers that used it.
Kmeaw CFW does not have an integrated payload and as a CFW is not related to game crashing and/or freezing.
Managers, or external packages are used in that case.
You were probably using LV2 or a manager that had it integrated.
Consider the fact that Waninkoko CFW still has most of the LV2/PL3 code integrated, and that the same bugs and freezes that plagued Waninkoko v1 and LV2.pkg are now on Waninkoko v2. The GT5 mid-save freezing bug is one, for instance.
It'll freeze right when it's saving and the result is a corrupted save. Since GT5 is quite a long and big game, that's enough for me not to use Waninkoko's CFW.
The serious flaw in Waninkoko v2 is that you can't turn off or unload that payload related code, since it's integrated into the firmware and loaded automatically on each boot.
On Kmeaw, you have options. You can use LV2 or syscall36 integrated managers.
Just like on 3.41, if it rings a bell.(Hermes/PL3 payload options, eh)
Syscall36 managers are running games perfectly.
