Kmeaw 3.55 on a 40GB ps3 + MGS4

Hi guys!

It's been a really really long while since I've posted back here in these forums. I could still remember the days of ps2 exploit talk. So anyway I'm just new to the jbreak community and bought a used 40GB ps3 yesterday I had everything setup and would have MGS4 loaded. My question is, since it's just a 40gb hdd and I have like 31GB usable space. would this setup enable me to play it without problems? I mean I'm missing almost 6 GB of space and I'm presuming that's system reserved. What I'm worried about is for this kind of setup would it still need to "install itself" therefore add up space or rendering me with insufficient space? or would playing it straight off since it's jbroken work out fine? Sorry need some light with this as I'm very new and just recently got back from xbox 360 as I really wanted to play mgs4 badly before I get married :P geek alert!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Since the ISO is about 31 GB's there will be no space left for the install of MGS4... JB does not change the way a game behaves, nor if it needs to be installed or not. As far as the game is concerned, it is still run from a BD-ROM. Have you tried reformatting the hard drive? don't really know how much space is supposed to be taken up, but 31 usable seems a bit small... but hey it's been ages since the 40GB hdd was in my PS3
