Kill Zone 2 refuses to load Help!!!

I am trying to play Kill Zone 2 but I can't seem to get past the first loading screen. It just hangs forever. When I quit game it crashes. I've tried just about everything: PL3, Hermes v4, game update, no game update, delete data, permission fix, Gaia & OpenManager. It just won't load. I even tried both EU and US versions with no luck. I'm using PSGrooPIC if that makes any difference. I'm stumped. I would really appreciate the help.

P.S. I had it working one time with one of the older PayLoads about a month ago but I can't remember which one it was.

Are you playing on internal? Cause, if you have this on your external, it has over 4gb files and that's probably why it's crashing on you.

Patched mode / No Patched mode? And, deleted all game data everytime you tried something new?

Yes. Patched and No Patched. Maybe I'm destined not to play this game.

Just for the hell of it, try Rogero's manager. He's done some individual code fixing on the whole patched mode thing. It's worth a shot.
