PS3 News put an article on it's front page about a MFW made with PS3MFW Builder v0.1

KakaRoToKS posted a comment in the thread that the whole point of making PS3MFW Builder v0.1 was that the internet wouldn't be swamped with 1001 custom or modified firmwares.
But that every one could made his own to fit his or hers personal taste and/or Preference.

This got his account flagged and all posts that ask the same question are being deleted.

Apparently PS3 News is a Dictatorship...

All forums are, the rules are set by a few people (usually) and you either follow them or get banned / dont sign up etc..

Yeah, I'm getting kind of sick of every new release of CFW that has nothing new to offer. This is exactly why he released this tool. Every new CFW doesn't need to be reported on. Given, if they do something new and exciting, then sure, report away.

I just want to be able to go back to CFW V2 3.55. I made the extremely stupid noobish mistake of updating to 3.56.

I hope I am not out of luck. I might just look out for a second hand PS3 if theres no go with CFW 3.56 soon. I found that my legal copy of GT5 loaded a bit faster from the HDD rather than what is installed on the HDD from the blueray on the official firmware.

Agree 100%...but also
Lots of these devs are getting to high on themselves.
There under the impression that everyone needs to bow and listen to everything they say. I mean KaKaRoToKS tweets about how Ps3 news is acting like A dictatorship......but yet he is going around telling websites and admins on those sites what to do......

Another example: PL3 Vs Hermes
All in all I agree with the no need to publish thousands of CFW's, but he has no right to expect everyone, and every website to kiss his butt and bow to his every whim.

Something I've learned from being on the i-net since the BBS days, is if someone wants attention on the internet, they'll do whatever it takes to get it. Nothing you can do about it.
