Just a few questions about jailbreaking the PS3?

So, I'm waiting for the E3 Flasher to ship, and wanted to just know a few things. First, what's the latest firmware that games can be on to be able to play on a CFW 3.55? Is it just anything 3.55 or lower, or have they gotten newer games working with like the E3 Flasher, or do I need the True Blue?

And do I need the eboot patches to be able to play the games, or were the eboot patches just for installing the game to the XMB?

Also, what is the main point of a spoofer? I thought it was so you could play newer games, but now I'm reading that it just shows that the firmware is on the latest firmware, and that's about it? Is it even necessary?

And then, what's the best CFW for 3.55? Is it the kmeaw one, or is there one that is supposedly better to have?

A handful of games that require 3.60+ will work on 3.55 CFW.

Eboot patches are necessary for some 3.55+ games to work.

A spoofer is intended to help prevent you or family members from accidentally updating your PS3. Nothing else.

Best CFW is Kmeaw or rebug.
