You can't. Seeing as your PS3 came with a firmware over 3.55 you can't use a hardware flasher to get to 3.55, unless your system was updated from 3.55 or below.

No to mention that the special bundles that came with infamous and uncharted are the new model ps3, and are different hardware wise than anything else, so thats another barrier to prevent jailbreaking it.

When purchasing a Ps3 if your intentions are having it be under a certain firmware (For god sakes why would a super slim be jailbreakable)

Once again the only way to find a jail-broken ps3 is either a forum site (like this one) or ebay (the better alternate). To answer your question you cant because the super slims are un hackable/non downgradable

It is strongly advice to do ALOT of reading/researching upon these things.

how is this a pointless thread? i'm a total noob. my last console WAS A PS1. back then i was using mods chips. i know nothing about the next gen modding scenes and etc and i had no plans to even going to buy a ps3. however, the black friday deal was just too good to pass up so and bought it after the fact and i just wanted to know if it was hackable, that's all.... i don't have any intentions for it being under a certain firmware or anything cause like i said, i just bought it cause it was cheap.

who would a noob know if he didn't ask? also asking a topic on this forum gives faster answers than googling, especially since the super slim is a new console. besides, i already knew google the answer beforehand, i just wanted to make sure that was not a method of jailbreaking super slim that i didn't know about

Disrespecting fellow members will get you a short stay here

The mod staff here is one of the best around on any site PSX related or otherwise. Contact us if there's a problem

I liked the posts because they were the correct answers, I didn't plan on the drama (having family drama of my own) was going to close the thread after your thank you post. Since it did get out of hand I'm closing it now, in the future please do your research before hand(sorry for the drama)
