PS3USBJailbreak the 64K one has mac support and they promised an open source release next week. Just wait a bit and see what happens maybe the P3Go's open source coming this friday will be a good option. I don't have an x3max so I can't tell if it's got the mac support.

I have an Intel Mac with Windows installed, but maybe you could try CrossOver? I dont use it but it is supposed to let you run Windows apps w/o having to have Windows….maybe the Amtel FLIP app will work
